Installation
Chrome Web Store
- Visit the Velatir extension page in the Chrome Web Store
- Click Add to Chrome
- Confirm the installation

- Download the extension from cdn.velatir.com/chrome-extension.crx
- Open Chrome and navigate to
chrome://extensions - Enable Developer mode
- Drag and drop the
.crxfile onto the extensions page

- Download and extract the extension package

- Click Load unpacked and select the extension folder
Configuration
Individual Setup
- Click the Velatir extension icon in your browser toolbar
- Click the settings gear icon
- Enter your API Endpoint (default:
api.velatir.com) - Enter your API Token from the Velatir dashboard
- Click Save Settings

How It Works
- Injection: The extension injects a monitoring script at page load
- Capture: Prompts are captured at submit time (keyboard or click)
- Evaluation: Content is sent to Velatir for policy evaluation
- Enforcement: Based on policy response, the request is allowed, blocked, or flagged
