Agents are specialized AI employees within Velatir. Each agent has a clear job description and a set of skills tailored to a specific domain. Think of them as team members you hire for distinct responsibilities — one might focus on discovering AI usage, another on reviewing content, and so on.

How Agents Work

Agents are passive by default. They observe, collect data, and surface insights without taking action that could disrupt your workflows. When an agent identifies something that needs attention, it can:
  1. Report — Surface findings in your dashboard
  2. Alert — Notify you through configured channels (Slack, Teams, email)
  3. Escalate — Create review tasks for human decision-making
You stay in control. Agents never take autonomous action unless you explicitly configure escalation paths.
