What Is an Organisation?
An organisation is your company account in Velatir. It holds your subscription, members, and all workspaces in one place. Every Velatir customer starts with one organisation that represents their business. Your organisation stores company-level settings like your company name, type, country, and data privacy preferences. It also controls who has access to your account and what they can do.What Is a Workspace?
A workspace is a separate environment within your organisation for a specific team, department, or project. Each workspace gets its own API keys, agent configuration, and traces, keeping activity clearly separated. You can think of workspaces as folders inside your organisation. They let different groups operate independently while your organisation maintains centralised oversight. How They Relate

When to Use Multiple Workspaces

|---|---|
| Separate teams | Engineering, Marketing, and Legal each get their own workspace |
| Different environments | Development, Staging, and Production workspaces |
| Distinct projects | One workspace per product line or client engagement |
| Regulatory boundaries | Workspaces for different jurisdictions or compliance regimes |
