The Sidebar
The sidebar on the left lists the sections of the dashboard. Which sections you see depends on your role and access. See Roles & permissions.
A section with pages lists them beneath it in the sidebar. Select the section to open its first page, or select a page directly. The chevron next to the section shows or hides its pages.
Below the sections:
- Notifications opens your notifications. A count shows how many are unread.
- What’s new opens the release notes, with a count of the updates you have not read.
- Service catalogue opens the catalogue of AI services Velatir knows. See Service catalogue.
- During a trial, the sidebar shows how many days are left.
Breadcrumbs
Every page opens with a trail in its header that shows where the page sits: the section, then the page, then the item you have open. Select a crumb to go up to it. To return to where you came from, use your browser’s Back button. The dashboard has no Back control of its own.Search
Select Search at the top of the sidebar, or press ⌘ K on a Mac and Ctrl K elsewhere. Type to find:- Pages: every section and page in the sidebar.
- Agents: your Gatekeepers, Data Protectors and Coaches.
- Applications: the AI services declared in your inventory. This is not the Applications section in Insights, which lists applications detected by the desktop app.
- Workspaces: the groups of members in your organisation.
- Reports: report templates and schedules.
The Peek
Wherever a service is named, in Sessions, Insights or elsewhere, rest the pointer on its name or select it to open its Peek: a small card about that service that keeps you on the page you are on. The Peek shows:- Whether the service is Declared or Not declared · Shadow AI.
- Its Interactions, People and Workspaces for the period of the page you are on, and the latest sessions that used it. All sessions opens every session for the service with the same period and filters.
- Declare service or Undeclare, if you have permission to manage the inventory.
- Open in Inventory and Open in Service catalogue, which take you to the service’s own pages.
